Welcome to the Dunblane Rambling Club Website
Under normal circumstances Dunblane Rambling Club organises a fortnightly programme of Sunday walks. Members meet in Dunblane and share cars to the start point of each walk thus reducing car use, sharing costs, easing pressure on limited parking space and accommodating non-drivers. The winter programme normally has lower level walks within easy travelling distance. In summer we go further and higher!
Stirling Hillwalking Club meets on the alternate Sundays so that if you join both clubs there's an organised group walk each week.
Although Covid-19 restrictions are being eased we are still unable to publish our normal programme of walks. However, we now operate larger group walks, organised on a week-to-week basis, aiming to provide a choice of walks on alternate Sundays to suit walkers of varying abilities and fitness levels. Prior booking is still requested.
Questions about joining the club, or any other matters, should be addressed to the Chairman, John MacKenzie or the Walks Convenor, Eric Howman (details on contact page).
Membership fees, payable at the start of the season (May 1st) are:
Single: £3.00, Family: £5.00.
